another cute proposal, from the knot.com

This one really is cute and well executed!

One of my friends was visiting Sacramento from Las Vegas and told me that one of her friends had an art exhibit at a local gallery. She told me she would meet me there. I invited my boyfriend (at the time) and we drove there around 5pm. We got to the art gallery and there were no cars in the parking lot. I figured my friend had gotten the days of the art exhibit mixed up. We decided to see if the door was unlocked. To my surprise, it was and my boyfriend had posted huge pictures of us up throughout the art gallery and there were roses everywhere. After reminiscing over the past 5 years of adventures, he pointed to a white spot on the wall and said he wanted his favorite picture to go there. Then he told me how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was balling my eyes out and nodded my head yes. It was the perfect moment.
After he called his best friend, who was waiting out in his car and he came and took engagement pictures of us.
Next, he had made reservations at a really nice restaurant in downtown Sacramento called Ellas, where we toasted with champagne to our engagement and had some appetizers. Then he realized that he had most likely left the door unlocked at the art gallery, so we quickly finished our appetizers and ventured back to the gallery.
When we arrived, there was a huge picture of our engagement up on the wall and over 50 of my closest family and friends were there for a surprise engagement party. It was so perfect!
We had wonderful wine from around the world and delicious finger foods while celebrating the best time of my life with all of my closest family and friends.
Finallly, we danced the night away at a local nighclub, the Park Ultralounge and finished off the night with a bang.
I’ve never been happier than this moment in my life.
